Mount Merapi - Belching Clouds of Black Ash
Red-Hot Searing Lava Oozing
I was awe-strucked by the rumbling of Mount Merapi in Java, Indonesia since Sunday and it's imminent eruption.
With the path of oozing lava flowing towards the villages, many fled but still some choose to remain to stay behind. With danger looming I sincerely hope that history would not repeat itself when Mt. Merapi erupted 12 years ago on 22 November 1994 where 70 people were perished.
Seems to me this 'Giant' is gonna take some time before she gets some 'sleep' again *sigh*
