I bet it happens to every women - the time of the month *sigh* - yeap! the PMSing....the cramp, mood swing, temper flare coupled with the excruciating pain. You do know what I'm talking about isnt' it?
My body suffered some biological changes after my left cyst operation couple of years back and since then, it was hell! I hate the time of the month - some months it's good, some months it's back to hell and back - believe me please!!!! It is no joke! It is that serious! :( *sob*
This weekend was bad and thank goodness Friday is a public holiday being Good Friday, I was literally bedridden and suffered abdominal pain all the way till Sunday. Eventually, went to see a Chinese Physician down the street and did an acupuncture which relieves my pain immediately although I still have a high temperature.
So, it's downtime for me folks and I hate it - I really do!
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical technique for unblocking chi (ch'i or qi) by inserting needles at particular points on the body to balance the opposing forces of yin and yang. Chi is an energy that allegedly permeates all things. It is believed to flow through the body along 14 main pathways called meridians. When yin and yang are in harmony, chi flows freely within the body and a person is healthy. When a person is sick, diseased, or injured, there is an obstruction of chi along one of the meridians. Traditional Chinese medicine has identified some 500 specific points where needles are to be inserted for specific effects.
