Dar was expecting three groups of visitors this evening- USA & Germany. He needs to meet them for dinner and at the same time orientate the way to travel to Jurong Island in view of the security clearance at the checkpoint. They are flying in to get the packaging line on-stream in the next two weeks and all eyes are on this line.
This is not the first time he has done that so to his astonishment, he became frantic when Swissotel Reservation informed that there were no German guests check-in at all! Panic-stricken but there's really nothing much one could do, maybe there's a flight delay or something? Being responsible, off he went back to office at Jurong Island and checked out his mail - sorry no reply or news about the Germans *sigh*
Anyway, off he went to meet Dave from Atlanta, who was here last February and it was really thoughtful and sweet of Dave to invite me as well for a drink as I did not get to meet him during his last visit. But Dar told him he needs to 'locate' the whereabout of the Germans :( and at the
same time meet up with the two gentlement from OK USA too. Hang on Dave, we'll meet soon probably next week ya :P
Mmmm, he's still not back yet and I reckoned it's gonna be a stressful week for him - Big Time! Now....I wonder where are the Germans, I think they should be the one who should be anxious to establish contact rather than Dar. They better have a good reason for no-show tonight otherwise the big bosses sure gonna get madddddd....!
