Marathoners @ The Esplanade
Hey..... today it's the SAFRA Sheares Bridge Run & Army Half Marathon 2006 over at the The Padang. I have full admiration and respect to all the marathon runners - something about their sheer will power and endurance to be able to run consecutively for couple of hours. MY own personal record was running 40 minutes non-stop but attempting to run like a true-blue marathoner never ever crosses my mind.
Anyway, my pal Ben is going for the Sheares Bridge Run this morning and not sure what's the outcome but read that 65,000 to 70,000 runners thronged the business district overlooking the Esplanade. Wow! I'm amazed by that number :D
