Juicy Lychees
Lychees are in abundance now and can be found at all fruit stalls and supermarkets. Hey look what I found in the mail this morning - a satchet of new Dilmah Lychee tea.....MMmmm....... can smell the aroma already :D - Shiok!
Be warned about rotten lychees - would advise you to buy those by the kilos. This season, most of them are sold in baskets at $10, one supermarket here advertised $7.90 per basket. Don't be fooled - DO NOT buy those displayed at the fridge, it simply means that the fruits are at the stage of perishing. I know coz I was the vicitm :-( (Dun feel Shiok at all)
Now you know why there's a difference of $2.10 ......... *shake head*
